Project Description:

Environet has been contracted to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, supplies, and transportation to provide miscellaneous repairs, fire protection upgrades and new construction to convert an old chapel space into a training auditorium at MCBH.

Construction activities are ongoing and include hazardous material abatement (i.e., removal of asbestos-containing material (ACM), arsenic, and lead-based paint (LBP)); and demolition and repair of existing apparatus and furnishings, existing walls/paneling, flooring, ceilings, doors/windows, mechanical/plumbing, fire alarm, and electrical devices and equipment. Interior work items include framing new walls; rough-in plumbing; fire alarm system installation; electrical, ceiling and wall insulation; and installation and finish of all wall board, doors, frames, and ceilings. Exterior work consists of installation of a new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system and associated ducts, flashing and sheet metal, roofing patch, and exterior finishing and painting. Environet will also perform all testing and inspection for HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB), direct digital controls, fire protection, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm transmission systems.
